SO. after hours of formatting issues I have arrived at a final product (the beautiful blog that you're looking at) and the conclusion that I'm not nearly as capable a blogger as I imagined I would be.
My hope for this blog is that it will serve to both document my trip for my own posterity as well as keep family and friends informed about what I'm up to half-way across the world!
just f.y.i. I am studying abroad at Tsinghua University in Beijing. I'm in a eight week Northwestern Public Health program. While I'm here I'll be taking "intensive" Chinese, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Public Health in China. I arrived just under three weeks ago and I'll be returning to the states on August 15th.
It has been quite the culture shock so far, but I'm learning quickly and greatly enjoying my experiences so far. It's an incredible country and I've gotten to see so many beautiful places in the three short weeks I've been here.
I'm new to blogging so if you're going to continue reading my posts prepare for my misuse of the various features, but also some of pictures I've taken so far!
